We spent the first weekend of April this year in the atmosphere of the jubilee, 10th Zagreb Olive Festival, which was held at The Westin Zagreb hotel. This renowned event, organized by the Zagreb Olive Institute, received a record number of olive oil samples from Croatia and the surrounding area for evaluation, and our monovarietal extra virgin olive oil – Kristofola buža – was awarded gold again this year.
Monovarietal olive oils reveal the authentic character of the variety they come from in every drop, and for good reason they represent the pinnacle of olive growing. It is through such oils that we demonstrate our dedication to tradition and top quality in olive oil production, so each new recognition from the profession is additional confirmation that the effort, love and attention we invest in every step of the production process have added value.
Thank you to all visitors to the Festival for coming and supporting us, to the profession for recognizing quality, and to our fellow olive growers for the fellowship, exchange of experiences and inspiration. It is always an honor to be a part of this story.
